EstorilFoot2009 is a seven a side International Youth Soccer Tournament, of young players of either gender, born in the years 96/97, 98/99 and 2000/2001. It will take place between the 21st and 27th of June 2009, during the school holidays. This will allow Clubs to offer their athletes and staff the opportunity for competitive socializing at the end of the sporting season and as a reward for all their efforts and dedication during 2008/2009 season.

It also has the objective of allowing for the development of the competitive spirit, helping with the development of fair play amongst all who take part, including managers, coaches, players, referees, family and fans and create conditions for a better exchange of cultures and experiences, thus developing relationships between the younger sides of the Clubs, allowing the participants and their party a better touristic knowledge of the County.
The Tournament will take place in Cascais County and will be played at the Estoril Praia, Malveira da Serra, Dramatico, Fontainhas and Torre at Cascais grounds which=are artificial surface, as well as the natural surface Estoril Praia ground, where the finals will take place.

A total of 1344 players and 384 members of staff will represent 96 teams, playing 384 games (128 in each category) during the five days of the competition which will be refereed by 48 officials.
Each team will play eight games. Three in the first stage, three in the second stage and two in the qualifying stage,
Each participant will receive a personal ID, a diploma, a Tournament t-shirt, a magazine with the photos of all 96 teams and free entry to the Youth Football Congress to be held on June 24th, afternoon, in which well known national and international managers will take part.

For directors of the participating teams there will be the opportunity, on June 21st, to participate in the welcome dinner.
Every participating team will obtain a final place and receive a souvenir cup.
Low budget accommodation and meals will be arranged for the teams who require it and request it, taking into account the time of the year during which the Tournament is taking place as well as local transportation between the venues.
EstorilFoot2009 is made possible by the great support given by the Head of  Sport at the Cascais Council and the help of the Lisbon Football Association and the Clubs allowing the use of their grounds.
